Research Areas: Fisheries Resource Management (Contributing towards the conservation, sustainable management, and policy development of aquatic biodiversity resources)

  • Ecosystem Dynamics and Conservation Strategies of the Sacred Rivers: Assessment of Physicochemical Attributes, Fish Biodiversity, and Human Impacts (Institute Corpus Fund Project) (PI)
  • Assessment of exotic fishes’ prevalence and their impacts on indigenous fish diversity (Institute Project) (PI)
  • Assessment of climate change impact in the waterbodies of Uttar Pradesh and developing climate resilient strategies for sustainable fisheries management (Funding Agency: UPCST) (Co-PI)
  • Quantifying meta-structure matrices of biodiversity & ecosystem services for assessment of fish genetic resources. (Subproject 2: Ganga River Basin) (Institute Project) (Co-PI)
  • Participatory programme on exploration and characterisation of fish germplasm resources and indigenous knowledge in the North-Eastern region of India (Institute Project) (Co-PI)
